Peter Griffin, Sr. opened a floor covering and installation store over 40 years ago with a small storefront and handful of employees. In 1969 Mr. Griffin could neither envision the expansion of his business nor the pride of passing ownership to his daughter many decades later. Gwen (Griffin) Tennyson, with her father still active in the business, operates Griffin’s Flooring America with two beautifully appointed showrooms in Prince Frederick and California, MD serving the tri-county area. The company is fortunate to have our Operations and Quality Assurance issues in the competent hands of Gwen's husband, Ron. Griffin’s Flooring America is registered with the State of Maryland as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), a 100% woman-owned business. We serve: residential homeowners; contractors; industrial enterprises; insurance claimants; and state/federal government agencies. Various non-profit organizations, schools, churches, youth groups, etc. are supported by our company. Our dedicated staff of 35 bring many years of experience and strive to provide our customers with exceptional service second to none. The sales team and certified installers are continually trained in the latest flooring products, decorating trends, and installation techniques. For 5 consecutive years, we have received the prestigious 'Five Star Company’ award based on customer satisfaction.
